Visited Chan Chan Food House this past weekend and it exceeded our expectations. It is located in a plaza with a lot of restaurants, Mitsuwa Market and Daiso. There is plenty of parking. They have an Ipad by the entrance that allows you to join the Yelp waitlist. If there are empty tables, the staff recommends you take a table and order at the counter once you've decided what you wish to order. We ordered a large order of wings with chan chan sauce and sweet garlic sauce (with a large order, they allow you to order multiple sauces); the kimchi and spam fried rice, the sweet & spicy pasta, the mixed deep fried appetizer, the chan chan kimbap roll and the kimchi kimbap roll. All the dishes came in generous portions. Our favorite dishes was the sweet and spicy pasta and the chan chan kimbap roll. We love that the pasta dish came had a lot of textures; it had crunchy cabbage, perfectly cooked noodles all mixed with in a sauce that was spicy but sweet at the same time. The chanchan kimbap rolls were tiny kimbap rolls that had fish cake, egg, and veggies and right amount of rice; everything was tightly packed in the seaweed sheet; this dish was perfect because you were able to taste all the ingredients inside the kimbap roll in one single bite. Can't wait to come back and try the other items in their menu.

Very limited choices on vegetarian items. There is a pasta dish and a rice cake with sweet sauce. The complimentary water has garlic taste to it. When we asked the server is there garlic in the water, he said no and proceed to bring us a new jar of water. However, the water still tastes garlicky. My friends orders some soup noodle dishes, a kimchi fried rice and kimbap. They are OK.

The place is whatever... Customer service sucks, you have to pay right after you order, and being a first timer, I didn't know what to expect, but at least was hoping to get some water while waiting for the food. The large portion for chicken tenders is not worth $30, plus they give you very little sauce for the large order, and it's super sweet. For the kimchi fried rice, they put more onions than kimchi, and the cheese tasted burnt. The only thing I would suggest if you go, don't tip much because they don't really serve you like in other restaurants. You have to get everything yourself, and they will ignore you in anything you need, even to-go boxes.

Best Korean fried chicken for me! We always get the large so we can try two other sauces. They have to put it on the side. We got the chan chan sauce and sweet garlic. We also ordered the kimchi fried rice and the ground beef kimbap. I also tried the chan chan kimbap before. This is my 3rd time here and always a yum! Friendly service too :)
