Horrible. Waste of money. I have a sinus infection and went to the McKnight Road location two days ago. The “provider” didn’t bother to examine me and determined that I had a virus. I left, went home and went another night without sleep from the horrible sinus pain. I went to an actual medical facility the next morning and was given a prescription for an antibiotic for my SINUS INFECTION! Felling much better today, no thanks to MedExpress. Won’t be back.

We were at MedExpress this past Saturday. They were very busy. Despite the constant flow of patients and some crabby people wanting to be seen, every member of their staff was very pleasant, and to happy help. I was pleasantly surprised when we were quoted 2 - 2 1/2 hour wait and were able to be seen in little over an hour. It was the best experience we have had an Urgent Care. We are thankful for the care and understanding provided by the staff. Thank you!

Very poor experience. As my first test was incorrectly billed to me and, therefore, not directed appropriately to my employee portal, I requested a full refund for the the erroneously billed service on 10/8/2022. Not only did I have to make 2 separate visits to your clinic because I was directed inappropriately, I also had to miss my scheduled start date at my new assignment due to this easily avoidable mistake. Even when I came back a second time and followed the directives given by my employer exactly, I was still told multiple times that I would need to be billed directly in order to have my specimen collected. Subsequently, I was also told that I needed to call my employer and ask for ANOTHER Specimen Requisition Form.. (can you imagine??) What was resolved in a few minutes at the end of a phone call with the off duty manager on Saturday when I was pulled into an exam office so as not to cause a disruption was, instead, translated to many hours of lost time for me, lost pay, multiple phone calls with my employer, MedExpress corporate, First Advantage Corporation and FedEx Human Resources. In hindsight, it was very obvious that the service I was requesting on 10/8 and the way it was intended to be billed/processed was absolutely possible on my first visit and part of your protocol. Especially since the receptionist was ABSOLUTELY given a complete and inclusive set of instructions for the procedure and billing process during my first visit on 10/8/2022 and she proceeded to ignore them. I was made to feel like I was a huge inconvenience to the staff due to their inability to follow directions and their own protocols. I don’t think I will ever come back to this MedExpress location.

What types of COVID-19 testing does MedExpress offer?

MedExpress Urgent Care | Oct 29, 2021
MedExpress Urgent Care | Oct 29, 2021

MedExpress is offering COVID-19 evaluations and testing at designated centers to help support our local communities' health care needs amid the pandemic. In order to ensure individuals receive the highest-quality care and treatment, all individuals seeking care at MedExpress for known or suspected COVID-19 cases will receive an examination by a MedExpress health care professional who will determine if testing is needed and which testing method may be most appropriate, including rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. Please note that for the most accurate COVID-19 test results, the CDC and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) recommend that individuals who are not showing symptoms, but who have had close contact with an individual who has tested positively for COVID-19, wait five to seven days after the known exposure to get a COVID-19 test. Additionally, the CDC and AAFP recommend self-quarantining for 14 days after a known exposure to COVID-19, even if no symptoms are present.

Does COVID testing stop at 630pm for locations open until 8pm. I was refused at the door last night for a test at 731pm

Our international student had something with her eye earlier this year... And since they don't have any way to look directly... They diagnosed her and gave some advice and that helped our international student. I would call and see if they could give you a better answer.
