I actually thought Save-A-Lot means you save a lot With the economy now you are saving very little. For a carton of eggs of 12 it's $4 no I'm not paying for that. If you go to Save-A-Lot you need to price match you're not saving a lot you're spending more

You can't expect too much from Save-A-Lot. The store I visited was a typical Save-A-Lot. Bring your own bags or paper one rent a shopping cart or put in a quarter deposit or whatever however much it is which I didn't use the shopping cart I didn't need but a couple things. It was convenient I had to be in that area anyway and the prices are good but always check your expiration dates just in case.

What a tiny little jewel of heaven! Is that cheesy enough? It's been years since I've been in a Save-A-Lot, and the differences between now and then are incredible! This may be the first store I've been inside in a looooooooong time that has literally EVERY SHELF STOCKED! One of my roommates had never even heard of SAL, so we stopped in so I could introduce him... ended up spending over $100. If I'd had more freezer space at the house we'd probably still be there! And it's not just that "everything's stocked", it's stocked with stuff people actually need and want! I couldn't believe it. Neat and clean store, well-organized, AMAZING prices, friendly cashiers and staff, and so fast I couldn't even unload the cart fast enough! My only advice: TAKE A QUARTER TO GET A SHOPPING CART! Don't worry, you'll get it back when you leave, I promise. It's just something I didn't know that would have been helpful - I rarely travel with change. And as far as keeping your carts from rolling down Mercury Blvd., it's a damn good idea. Dollar General and Dollar Tree could take some lessons here. Keep up the good work! 🤗
