Used to love this place but over time I’ve lost confidence. My appointment was cancelled via text less than 24 hours prior. I then accepted work meetings and got another text saying it was a mistake. I was embarrassed having to then cancel the work meetings I accepted. This was not addressed in person for my appointment. I don’t feel informed for many of the things I get sent to billing for. It doesn’t help that 50% of my appointments over the past two years haven’t even been with my dentist. They always try to sell me on oral screening that isn’t covered by insurance. In a quick Google search (not to be taken as truth) there seems to be mixed opinions on if it does more harm than good. There is no actual information provided to me on this and the hygienist always phrases things in ways to make it difficult for me to decline. I should not have to sign something to decline a procedure that insurance doesn’t see as medically necessary. This seems like either a way to hold hygienists accountable for pushing services that are not medically necessary or as a high pressure technique to encourage patients to receive the treatment in the future. The place is nice, the tech is nice, the frills are all nice. If you want that without feeling like you have the ability to make an informed medical decision for yourself, this might be the place for you.

I had a really good experience. As someone who hadn’t been to the dentist in 8+ years I was very nervous. My hygienist and doctor were skilled and also compassionate and light hearted, understanding, and made me very comfortable. Also very informative about treatment plans and making it work for me as best as possible. This is coming from someone with a long held dental anxiety. I think they are wonderful. Also the insurance specialist was very transparent and helpful because we all know $$ is a concern. She was great too. Thanks to all of you!

Hi C, thanks so much for your question. As a courtesy to our patients, we participate with all insurance companies. However, we are not currently in-network with AARP Medicare. This means your insurance company will still pay us for your covered services but we do not adjust our fees to their fee schedule. That means you would be responsible for the difference (if there is one). All this to say, we would still love to have you as a patient and look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
