Beautiful place to spend the week, friendly hosts, very clean. Electric and water at every site, and great access for fishing.

there is a section that is open 24/7

Just stayed this week, the stink was horrendous, nasty, smelled like your septic system blew up into your kitchen, OMG trying to eat with that stink, I almost puked once. Will never got here again.

I would assume they have the dam open. We have stayed at the campground many times, and have always smelled that "lake, algae, fishy" smell, but have never noticed it being so bad we couldnt eat.

No attendant for check in until 9am. If you have reservations, then you can set up your site earlier, otherwise for the walk up sites you have to wait.
