I hired Mr. Koon for my criminal case. As soon as the DA offered a plea he advised me to take the plea and did not bother to negotiate any further so I just assumed maybe this was the only option I had. My plea offer dropped one felony and one misdemeanor as I would be charged one felony and one misdemeanor. Upon arriving in court I learned that the sentence I agreed to was illegal Mr. Koon persuaded me take a plea that was beyond sentencing guidelines. He never even reviewed the plea nor negotiated anything the paperwork proves this. I was then sentenced to an additional felony and a maximum sentence. In response, court records are as clear as day I was offered 1 felony and Travis Koon got me 2. If that is not the worst representation I don't know what is.
