Literally terrible people and service, went to owner surrender (due to living circumstances) and after calling the Nassau humane society which said they would be able to take him. Went to get directions and it took me to the Yulee location. When I arrived it was barely 15 minutes after they had closed and the woman that opened the door had the worst attitude and disrespectful tone towards me and my boyfriend. Told us that there was no way she was going to take the dog and that there was no way that we had called them. She was rolling her eyes and did not care about the animal whatsoever. Amazing customer service from the animal services of Yulee. You guys are the worst and I 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING THERE TO ADOPT LET ALONE ANIMAL SURRENDER.if anything go to the humane society in fernandina it’s worth it if you care about your animal or the one your going to adopt.

If the problem persists and they don't try to stop it on any way. Call animal control and explain the situation to them. Keep track of how often it happens and if possible, get pictures.

I would honestly take it to a different place. We adopted one from there at the Mega Pet Adoption, and the puppy was not properly cared for by the NCAS. We spent $$ that should've been spent by NCAS on 3 different issues.
