Ok so, I have wic.. I was out of formula already and i was thinking to myself, man, I hope they call soon so I can get my vouchers sent to me.. they called THAT moment.. they left me a voice mail bc I didn't recognize the number.. so I was going to call back but FORGOT to bc I was taking care of both my babies under 2 years old.. hard work.. I got upset bc I see it's 7 pm and I know they're closed.. I go to put my little one to bed and I got a call from a cell number I didn't recognize once again so I hushed my phone as to not wake him.. I got another voicemail from Brittany from my local health dept! I called back and no answer.. within a minute she called me back and asked me a cpl questions about my babies so SHE could get my vouchers out first thing in the morning! For a broke mom w no formula that means the freaking world to me that she put in special effort at 8pm to get me what I need! I don't know who u are Brittany but thank u so much! I hope u see this one day and it makes u feel like the special person u r!

What a joke of a place. I got seen a couple months ago by Women's health and at the time the nurse seemed disoriented, like she had been drinking or on something, or maybe she was past her prime, nonetheless her answers to my questions were contradictory and confusing. When she called me back with my results she again sounded confused almost like she didn't even know who's record she was reading and told me I'd need to be seen in another year. So whole reason I went is bc I was having some critical issues, so, a couple months pass, still having issues, so I decided to call Shaw center (which I DO NOT recommend) to get medical attention as well as 2nd opinion....Shaw refused to set appt without med records from HD, so I jumped thru the hoops and went and signed med release form to be faxed. I was told by receptionist, who,didn't seem to be doing anything, that it wound be faxed by end of day...well it wasn't and when I called back to see if they could send, so I could avoid going to ER, she wasn't at her desk....I ended up in ER, with no answers, and a referral to, you guessed it, shaw center. Frustrated with the incompetence of Thomasville's medical staff.

I scheduled an appointment online thru their website, but when I got there I had no appointment. The website was not working properly. They took my name and put me in the system. Only had to wait 10-15 mins before they called my name. The doctor explained everything to me and asked if I had any questions or concerns. I didn't even feel the shot. I wish I remembered his name, so I could give him a shot out for being awesome. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. Even with all the computer problems they were having. Thank you everyone. Two thumbs up👍👍
