The room is in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom vanity is being balanced by a piece of cardboard. The carpeted floor is stained in several places. The tile floor is the kind from a 1960s school cafeteria and the tiles are cracked. The room smells musky and only 4 hours into our stay we have found 2 spiders.... one was about the size of a tennis ball. The bed sheets have stains and hair on them. There is mold stains above the shower head on the ceiling. The couch is also stained. The best part about the room is the balcony and the view, but it doesn't make up for everything else the room is lacking.

Couple of issues with the cleanliness of the room (food on the bed and stains on the bed linens) and not being able to get fresh bed linens right away, but was told our room would be thoroughly cleaned the next day. But the following day when the head cleaning lady came by she didn't act like she really wanted to clean the room again so I didn't push the issue, the things I did ask for she didn't have on her cart readily available (fresh towels, toilet paper) she went and got towels but we never received more toilet paper. Parking is kinda limited and seems there's no respect for designated room parking.

Check in time is 3pm, however if you arrive to Cedar Key prior, check in the office to see if we can get you in earlier.
