Disappointed is an understatement. My experience with this place was beyond terrible. I read a lot of great reviews and it was the reason why I tried, but I completely regret coming here. Let me tell you about my experience…I came for my first visit which was the consultation at 4:00pm. The facility was nice, but the receptionist (old lady, blonde) was NOT personable. It gave me a weird, awkward feeling. After I signed up, she asked me to wait in the room where the Doctor will see me. I waited over 20 minutes in the room and no one came so I stepped out asking “I just wanna make sure you didn’t forget about me.” Finally the Doctor came and discussed things with me. I decided to do Aerolase after our conversation. I signed up for three treatments because there was no option for just one. My first treatment was rushed, probably because it was 5:00pm and they were tired or it was late. After the treatment, I paid and the receptionist said she emailed me the receipt, but I did not receive it. I asked if she could resend it, but again it did not come through. I checked my spam folders and even checked if the email was right. The lady got very irritated. She printed the receipt and acted like it was too much to do. This place needs a better receptionist who is personable and not an old grumpy, irritable woman who has no personality. After the experienced, I reached out to somebody via facebook and the manager reached out to me and apologized. The manager was actually very nice. I didn’t want to go back and continue my treatment, but I signed up for three treatments and unfortunately there’s no way to cancel and get a refund. So I decided to finished my treatments. This place is actually very nice and seems like they offer great services, but they need better employees; especially a receptionist that is friendly and personable. Poor mannered employees can ruin a businesses reputation.

After Dr. Martins purchased Estar, I went to her for a service several years ago. At the time, I shared that I had been given several gift cards under the Serenity Zone name. She shared with me that they would be honored as part of the purchase agreement and had no expiration date. I made an appointment months ago and shared while booking the appointment that I would be using two gift cards and was told this was fine, and the cards would be honored. After going for my appointment, I was told they would only honor one of the $100 gift cards because they had not kept the database up to date on the value of the cards. The gift cards each had a value of $100. I was offered 20% off on my next service or a $20 to $25 credit. It is unfortunate that their record keeping has not been kept up to date, is accurate and that the priority is not customer service when the funds have already been collected.
