Downloads are free because accessing the computers are free. If you want to print , black and white is 15 cents and color is 30 cents...also the scanner is free you just pay for the copies as mentioned above.

Every day it's late will place an accruing charge on the account, which will stop accruing once the item is returned and in good condition. For most items it is 25 cents per day per item; Chromebooks are $3 per day overdue, and DVDs, Playaway tablets, and video games are $1 per day per item overdue.

The next Lawyers in the Library program (free legal aid) will be held at Essex on Monday, December 9th of 2019 from 4-6 PM. It is first-come, first served and we ask that you bring all relevant documentation in order to get the help you need.

Unfortunately BCPL does not carry this series! We can get them through a service called Marina that allows us to ask other libraries in the Maryland state to temporarily lend us their copies on your behalf, free of charge! Just let us know if you're interested in this service.
