My friends and I were on the board walk in August and waited to see if they would play Kate Smith's National Anthem. They did play the Anthem but it was sung by Leanne Rimes (which she sung beautifully) and we were so glad to see every one stop and some with their hand over their heart. The next time we went up on the board walk a few days later it was sung by Leanne Rimes again. But as we were ready to start walking we were so elated to hear right after that Kate Smith's National Anthem played. I had tears in my eyes, as we stood there with our hands over our heart for the second Anthem that was sung by Kate Smith. We went into one of the restaurants on the board walk and a few of the waitresses said they wished they had of known that Kate Smith sung because they would have come out on the boardwalk for that. Thank you to everyone who was there who participated in honoring our USA!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! We are so proud of Wildwood and their dedication. Jeannie, Mike, Bob, Keith, Betsy and all our friends!
