As a tax paying homeowner in SIC, I’m very disappointed in the tourism commission. I bought beach tags in the spring using the form mailed to me. Last week I lost those beach tags…first time in 17 years. I went to the welcome center and explained the situation. They took my name and looked up that I had paid in the spring, but would not provide replacements. I understand that someone could easily claim that they lost their tags without having actually lost them, but for an SIC homeowner and someone who has never asked for replacements before, it looks like they just went for a money grab

If the greedy beach tag inspectors dont stop.you to ask if you have a beach tag then you will be okay Just walk real fast past them
