A car parked illegal near Police Department gave me a hard time to make a left turn after a construction delivery on the nearest school. I called 911, they transferred to 311 and within 2 hours nobody came to do something.

There is a lack of cultural sensitivity when it comes to dealing with minorities at the 101 Precient in Far Rockaway. I had to make 2 phone calls to get assistance after a cyclist attempted to run over me and my dog on the boardwalks. The first 2 cops that arrived was condescending and ineffective. When their Supervisor arrived on scene the matter was handled with professionalism. The entire Far Rockaway community are not criminals and should not be treated as such. Compassion goes a long way.

If I were you, I would first call the precinct at their non-emergency number. If that doesn't help, I would go down there in person to speak to someone. The desk sergeants that I have dealt with there seem friendly.
