Our Boy Scout troop came here. There were very kind staff and nice woods near by which reminded us of the real world outside of our electronics. The cabins were nice and cozy and very rustic. On behalf of me and our troop I recommend this camping spot for you.

Raptor migration. Someone told me that birds are really government surveillance drones, but I think he was wrong after watching them in the mountains. Dude

Great camp. It is a scout camp but you can rent the facilities; we're actually here because of the YWCA's Camp May Kee Ya using the camp. They have swimming, boating, field sports, there are cabins so there's plenty of indoor and outdoor things to do.

How are the cabins, specifically the bunks? Are they wire frame or do they have mattresses?

Ameer Samy | Oct 29, 2018

Some cabins are renovated recently and they have nice wood bunk beds like at home. Older once have wooden bunk beds made of 2x4 and plywood. Both have thin mattresses. Just take a sleeping bag and you are fine.
