Dr. Malik and staff very pleasant and caring about my care. Very good information and different ways of treatment. I appreciated her time with me to address my concerns.

Dr. S. Mailk, and staff were always very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Mailk was very informative before surgery and again she went over the procedure before surgery and again day of surgery put me at ease to go through the surgery. I don't think I could have found a more friendly and welcoming person then Dr. Mailk and I would recommend her to anyone who would ask for a recommendation. Sincerely Karen Portsche

Everything you have heard about Dr. Stone is true! He is a wonderful listener, explains options, a skilled surgeon, easy to communicate with him or office for answers to questions post appointments or if you have a worrisome issue. Feel confident I am getting the best medical care that I could hope for. Had prolapse surgery, didn't take a pain pill, at 8 weeks was healed with no restrictions.

Yes, this one of our areas of expertise. It is a form of pelvic organ prolapse and the vault or apical portion is the most important part of any surgery for prolapse.

On 2-18-2013 I had a Sacroclopopexy, Suburethral Sling. Enterocele Repair by Dr. Marshburn. Calarificatoin: Am I to avoid abdominal strengthening exxercises?

I'm Dr. Marhsburn's partner. Post-operative restrictions is an area where there is a wide variety of opinions. Most of us feel that after 6-8 weeks that there should be few, if any restrictions. My general recommendation is to avoid constipation and workout routines that involve repetitively lifting heavy weights (~50 lbs). To answer your questions, I would recommend abdominal exercises as long as it is not causing pain or recurrent prolapse symptoms.
