I was looking at anywhere between 4-6 months (minimum) behind bars for having been arrested on a SUPER EXTREME DUI. BAC .219. I was up against (6) different charges. My life came to a fast stop. No defense attorney can guarantee an outcome because they don't control the court system, so the answer to that question is no. Plus, if any criminal attorney that you speak with 'guarantees' an outcome, you should definitely consider not using their services. The judge (or jury, if present) determines case outcomes, never the attorneys. We can give a good estimate of a potential outcome, however, based on the individual circumstances. Where possible, we work with the prosecuting attorney and come up with a resolution that benefits the client prior to the final court date. We always strive to do our best in saving the client where ever possible in terms of legal costs, fines, and jail time.
