My husband and I attended this church for 1 year. If you are looking for a church that preaches the gospel (not the prosperity gospel or a watered down version like this church), focuses more on biblical content preparation and preaching rather than a production or show, and does not place too much focus on money and always what you can do for them… this church is not for you. The gospel is not taught here. It doesn’t seem like the pastors prepare much as 80% of the sermons are spent speaking of personal (“funny”) stories and the other 20% are weakly related verses that are often forgotten by the pastors. I think the saddest sermon was Pastor Kelly speaking about her daughter who passed upon birth. Pastor Kelly tried to tie her daughters passing to the prosperity gospel, but couldn’t. In that moment, the entire sermon fell apart. There was no biblical support and she was left in tears on stage. She could not explain why that suffering happened related to the false teachings they preach to the congregation. After that sermon, we knew it wasn’t right and felt God calling us to attend elsewhere. We pray and hope that God provides her comfort and the true gospel to heal.

Wonderful bible study Wednesday @ 10 am and Thursday night
Yes, plus parenting class going on now and prayer every service
yes you can. just need to set am appointment.
We are a very loving, welcoming church. People who go here need and want God's love and grace for themselves and others. Everyone who serves at the services & pastors try to connect with as many people as possible but sometimes we are talking with those who need more time than others. There's a visitor center I'd suggest but it's not open at Sunday 5pm service. Consider trying the women's bible study Wednesday morning at 10am. That gives more time for interaction and I think you'd love it. No need to sign up, just show up :)
Weekend Services Saturdays at 5pm Sundays at 8am, 9:15am, 11am, 12:34pm & 5pm Wednesday there is a 630pm service only about hour
Absolutely. We have the perfect person. Please call the church at 480-964-4463 to set up a meeting. ~ Blessings
Yes they do. They hold monthly Water Baptisms, and have a variety of connect groups that meet at various times during the week. They believe strongly in speaking in tongues and you'll hear it, especially during praise and worship, and alter call.
They do tape the services, but the pastors are there in person. It's a friendly uplifting church.
Today used to be date night. You used to be able to attend services from 5 to 6 and kids were allowed to stay in child care until 10 in the evening for parents to catch a break. Living Word is Awesome! Not saying that it is still like that but used to be 😉
Date night Service is a Saturday service from 5pm to 6pm. Daycare is provided until 10pm, so that you & your spouse can have a "date" without a worry of the kids.
Just went to my first service. Awesome message. Put a different name of it. That gives me a great outlook for the up coming week and days
There is no service this evening.
Hello Courtney. Pastor Scot preaches the 11 and 1234 service at Mesa. Have you come to a 5 o'clock service before? We have 5 great pastors that preach the Live at 5. If not, come check us out to see which one may be a favorite to your children 😊. Have a blessed day!
We have a group called Celebrate Recovery. It's a similar program with a scriptural foundation. They meet Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.
They also have a morning Wake Up show on YouTube which is really good(:
I've been to visit the church twice and didn't see any information at the desk can someone please call me. This addiction is causing me to lose my marriage and family
We do. The lead pastors are men but See Dr. Maureen Anderson on Dr. D Arcineau online.
