A place for Mom refered me to Thunderbird Senior living. ( They no longer refer anyone to this facility). In late June 2022 I rented a friend a one bedroom apt for approx $2150 a month. Then I find out that other new residents are paying only $1800. PLUS He just got another rent increase to $2450 a month starting in NOV. He has only lived here Four months. Their meals are now included in the rent ( $400 a month for 2 meals.). The food was literally Not Eatable. I requested I writing that my friend Opt Out of their food program but was told that was Not an Option. (Yet they have allowed other residents to opt out). That's illegal. This facility is Very unsanitary and most of the furniture has urine and feeces on it. All they do is hose it off outside when someone has an accident which happens ever day. They had the maid spray the hallways with pesticide last week and now he has bugs inside he apt when he didn't have any problems with bugs before that. I saw pictures that soomone took of their kitchen.OMG it was so disgusting. They had open food containers in the fridge and open cereal bags on the floor. I hope the health dept comes out to inspect them soon. All they care about is making money for their Investor's. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

When my mom moved into Thunderbird Senior Living we thought the facility was great, but over time have found it to be wanting. The pros: the grounds are lovely, the apartments are roomy, the rental is more affordable than other senior apartments with similar amenities, and the residents are friendly and fun. The cons: the food in the dining room is sub-par much of the time and even sometimes inedible. Management is terrible, there have been mass walk-offs by staff and really good staff people have been let go. And there have been numerous, sizable rental increases. We'd be looking for another place for mom if it weren't for the financial and emotional costs of doing so.

Everything has been smooth so far. This is my third week. The food is good, people and staff are friendly.

This place is the most terrible place to work at. The cheat u out your money for what u worked for. They owe me my last check and I call to check on it and nobody returns your call. And u call the front desk ask who can u talk to about it they are rude as hell.

I enjoy it hear, I have been involved with it hear for a year and a half. It cost right close to $2,000 a month. If you elect to prepare your own meals you can save $250.00 a month. I am a diabetic so I prepare my own meals.
I'm a resident here in the apartment complex. There is an assisted living facility but I'm not sure if they have a Registered Nurse there. Perhaps you could give them a call.
look on website at bottom there's usually a spot for careers to click om.

Rents vary depending on size of apartment and needs, but the staff is very helpful with information and rates. I would advise that one call and speak with Holly Erickson for the latest rates and benefits. Visit, have lunch at their cafeteria and get all your information and a feel for the ambiance, that would be my advice. I think you will find Thunderbird and Journeys very friendly and rates are very reasonable and surprisingly affordable.
