First off I want to say I know I was in the wrong but with the customer service I received I felt like I needed to make it known that that is not a way the store should treat people if they want returning customers. Last week I was roaming the isles looking for a specific item (that I intended to BUY) I opened one of the lids to smell the item before deciding if that was the fragrance I wanted (normally they are sealed but you can still smell faintly). There was a worker I have never seen before and she asked me if there was anything she could help me with but was rude in nature like I was trying to steal the item or something. Then when she saw that I was smelling it she said Umm, excuse me we ask that you don’t smell the items. She said it so crudely that it sent chills down my body. Then she proceeded to say “Well, actually I need to take that item from you now as we cannot have it on the shelf.” Her glare, body language, and tone were not acceptable. I work in retail and never would I ever speak to someone in that manner. I honestly shop at this location because the store by my house has even worse customer service but that has left me continuously wondering if I should ever step foot in another Walgreens again. I mean I quickly left that isle but I felt “dirty” walking around the others trying to decipher what I did to receive such treatment.

Went to the drive thru to drop off a prescription and rang the outside lane. Started ringing, hung up and no response. After a few mins went inside and dropped it off. Got a text there was a problem and needed to call. On hold for 10 more mins only to get instantly hung up on. Changing pharmacys due to lack of communication by employee's. 👋

The Pharmacy is under staffed! 3 people working 2 drive through windows, 3 counter windows, and doing Covid shots. I will be changing stores!
