You'll meet and work with a lovely cross-section of kind hearted, motivated people in both the organizers and the volunteers. The work is necessary but simple and the time flies as you're doing it. If you're thinking of volunteering, a 2 hour shift is a good place to start because, even though it goes quickly, you'll come away with a combined feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment.

I volunteer on my own and through my company. They are so organized and efficient. They are sort of the main hub for many area food banks and have kept food on many families tables throughout the pandemic.

We volunteer at the food bank usually once or twice a month packing for for the hungry. They also have a store in front where you can get some free items and buy others to support their work. Our church The Bridge volunteers there and many other organizations. I recommend you volunteer there especially now with so much need during the pandemic.

I am so grateful for the incredible food distribution that REFB facilitates in Sonoma County. My family and I have both volunteered here on and off over the past decade, as well as benefited from their food distribution in times of need. They are such kind, loving, helpful, extraordinary people and I am happy to support them in any way that I can.

No, it's still at 3990 Brickway Blvd, Santa Rosa, CA
I don't have any information on what counties they serve. Just call them directly or research their website is what I recommend.
Yes, but best to call them to see where they want you to park. Just so others can park also.
This is not the food bank and is not the place to ask these types of questions. Call them directly.
In the Bank you apply... the lower the income plus how many mouths to feed are considered. In the Food Bank Store anyone can shop for good deals. There's also a section that is free.
Fifth Friday means that tomorrow is the fifth Friday in may... All lists I see say things like "first and third Fridays", but no provisions for this rare calendar event. Thanks for the reminder about SOS 🙂
Yes
I'm sorry don't know that. But give them a call you should be able to talk with someone who may give you what you need to hear. Good luck and God bless
No- tomorrow
Just show up they will help your needs
The website has a "make a donation" link. Hope that helps. If not, I would try contacting them personally through telephone.
Hi Patricia! We are currently accepting food donations. You can bring them to our warehouse at 3990 Brickway Blvd., in Santa Rosa. Or drop them in one of our food barrels located at any Oliver's or Whole Foods Markets. Thank you!
