Nice park. First time there. Like to ride mountain bike and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of trails and the size of this park. Bathrooms at the parking lot. Open to hiking, bike riding and horseback riding. Does get hot there, but there are plenty of trees so you can always find a place to take a break from the direct sun.

What a gem! I can't believe I haven't been here sooner. Great walking and hiking trails, some steep, but most are moderate and even easy. There is disable parking within the park close to the ponds. The park offers some great vistas, shady walks in summer and many spots to sit and enjoy a picnic or just some quiet peace.

Super fun hikes and easy for everyone. It can get really hot so I recommend getting there early or bringing some heat resistant clothes.

The park is recovering nicely from the fires. The fences are repaired and the paths look as if nothing ever happened. Many of the burned trees are still visible, but it is much less noticable with all the new growth. Who would have thought we would have spring in January?! The lakes are all nearly full and the grounds are quiet and peaceful. It is still a nice place for a quiet walk with a friend or on your own.
