I am new to the area and called Star Nails to make an appointment for a simple fill in. I arrived at the nail salon at 3:21 my appointment was at 3:30. Upon arriving there Tracy ( the owner ) said your early your appointment is at 3:30. I stated it’s ok I’ll wait . I waited 20 minutes . She didn’t stay on my nails until 3:50. As the customers came in she quicker she rushed on my nails . I asked her on five different occasions to stop “ getting my cuticles when she was drilling my gel nails polish off. First experience was horrible I don’t recommend them . I see why they have a 3.9 rating !

T did my Mani and Pedi. She took her time and didn't rush to make sure my nails were perfect. She does a great job. The salon is very friendly. Their prices are affordable. Would recommend this salon among most others in the surrounding area. I've been to most in Smithfield, Clayton, Garner, Dunn and Star nails is the best.

My name is gloria holder I had an appointment at 3 rush to be on time when I got there Cindy was working on a client I waited about 15 minutes she runs water for me then left me soaking for 45 minutes when she finally started on my feet I asked her about my appointment time we were talking then the manager jumped into the conversation she told me if I didn’t like the service I should leave this manager didn’t know how to talk to a customer maybe because I am black I know she is not from here but she need some major customer service help I want be going there again
