Recently DH&D handled a slip and fall case for my 93 year-old mother. We met with Jonathan Russell once. He and his staff took it from there. They were professional, efficient and negotiated an excellent settlement with the insurance company. Thank you, Jonathan, Lisa and Staff.

My wife and I sought out Attorney Jonathan Russell after she was rear-ended by another car. We received exemplary advice and he helped us wade through the sea of legal, medical, and insurance company paperwork and requirements. His team, consisting of Paralegal Ms. Kim Bedellion and Legal Secretary Lisa Hermann, were fantastic! They kept everything running smoothly: from reminding us of appointments with medical experts and making sure we had everything we needed; quick responses to our questions; being the point of contact with our own auto insurance company so we wouldn't have to worry about reimbursements or timely payments, and anything else which may have arisen. Attorney Russell informed us of what to expect and was masterful in dealing with defense attorney and insurance company. He was able to guide us through the process, resulting in a settlement. We are very grateful to Attorney Russell for his knowledge, insight, and personal care of our needs and to his team! We are very pleased we chose them to represent us! Thank you very much for helping my wife and I get a favorable outcome so she can continue to heal and we can move on with our lives!

There is no pre-determined amount to compensate you for the injuries you sustained. The amount of compensation you receive depends mostly on how badly you were injured, as well as the nature of the conduct that caused your injuries. For example, punitive damages are limited to specific cases such as drunk driving accidents. Only by meeting with an attorney will you discover just how much you may be entitled to receive. Never assume the insurance company will voluntarily pay the full amount of your claim.
There are two critical criteria for selecting an attorney. First, make sure the lawyer is experienced in the type of claim you have. Once you know that the attorney is qualified, make sure you feel comfortable with that law firm. You should feel that all of your questions are answered and that your potential lawyer has your best interest at heart.
No matter how small the accident or how straightforward your case may seem, there is no guarantee that the insurance company will give you the maximum compensation you are eligible to receive. Only by consulting with an attorney will you know if you have a case and how much it is worth.
If you are injured in a car accident, the most important step is to go a doctor, urgent care, or ER. You may have a condition that may seem minor initially, but develop into something more serious with the passage of time. A doctor visit is the best way to document whatever injuries you sustained, even if you fully recover without further treatment. Once you receive medical care, it’s best to schedule an appointment with an attorney to discuss your legal options, which may include who pays to have your car fixed or replaced; wage loss reimbursement; payment of medical bills and compensation for the losses and harms you sustained.
