I live out of state & was looking for new MDX in advance trim. Found one in VA and sent them a request. They reached out to me stating that 2 vehicles are available for pick up and instructed me to put 1K deposit. After extensive messaging and phone calls I was assured that the vehicle is coming from warehouse and is indeed available. I did fill out Credit App and paid 1K in deposit. Booked and checked in for my flight next day to pick the vehicle up. After short time Dealership reached out to me stating that the vehicle might not be available and that I should hold off on flying in. By that time I had 2 one way tickets checked in. I also told my brother and sister in law who live in Washington to buy their return tickets from MN as I was going to drive them to MN for my father in laws birthday. All together we had 4, 1 way tickets purchased which we ended up requesting refunds/ecredits and are waiting on the decision by airlines. I would have never given anyone my SSN for credit app if I knew they would not have the vehicle. I could have done the same thing locally and wait until they get the vehicle built and delivered. I applied with my wifes and my SSN so we gave them info on both of us just to be played and to be told that we have to wait until the vehicle, I was told is ready to leave the lot, is built and consecutively delivered to Pohanka Acura. Employees of the dealership(multiple sales managers/finance people and sales rep) that I interacted with started to shift the blame and say that they never told me to come or promised anything. When I said why would I give you my SSNs they merely state that people do that all the time.... I have all the txt messages that I have exchanged with the business and sales rep on his personal line. This dealership is taking advantage of consumers and blatantly telling them to do whatever they please/can and that they wont do anything and that they will not fulfill their part of the promise/deal. Stay away and DO NOT do business with these guys….!!!!!

The customer service was outstanding as always. I purchased my car from Pohanka & they are the only ones who has ever serviced my car. They are 1 hour away so I take that drive every time because they are great.

I had a wonderful experience with Pohanka Acura. My service advisor Soo Ah Son was exceptionally professional throughout the entire process. He did an excellent job explaining the services that I needed, and also communicating with me while I waited on the completion of these services. The waiting room was clean, and offered free beverages, and snacks while you are waiting. My only complaint is the complimentary car wash that I received was unacceptable, and laughable. It truly left me bewildered. Anyhoo, this was my very first visit, and although I drove over an hour to get there I do plan on returning for future services. Great job!

Employees wear masks. Screens at the registers. Hand sanitizer available. I think they still also will come to your home and pick up your car for service.
