I have been here for several emergency visits and I have received great care. I have also taken my mother here before she died and she received excellent care.

Unimpressed is an understatement. Only went to this emergency room per the recommendation of his pediatrician, now we know better and will use Cook’s instead of Weatherford Regional. Stephanie at intake is cold, incapable of sympathy to the highest degree, and overall a really awful introduction into an emergency room. I mentioned in both intake and once in the room, to the dr, that I felt dehydration was playing a role in his multitude of symptoms. Dr suggested a single test for strep which came back negative, looked in his ears and claimed that the right side looked “a little irritated”, finished up by telling us he probably just has an upper resp infection + ear infection…. And didn’t even send in a script for antibiotics, for said ear infection. I understand we all have off days, and maybe that was Stephanie today, having an off day, but to be in the business of people and routinely come in contact with children.. it’s vital to leave problems at the door and be a professional.

This is a review I will gladly change once policies are updated. We had a minor emergency and this hospital is in our community. The triage nurse was super kind to us, as well. During the triage, I noticed the “face mask required” signs and asked if we would be denied care based on us not wearing masks. We were told (via the charge nurse) we could not be treated in their emergency room unless we were wearing them. We go nearly everywhere in the state, and country, without wearing masks yet are required to wear them for medical care? I do not know why, at this point, anyone should be discriminated against for actual medical treatment due to face masks. We have great insurance and were not there for anything contagious. We can get do anything in this country without the masks except receive medical treatment? And they get subsidized by my property taxes… Unacceptable. You can wear a mask if you feel safer. We are not living in this fantasy.

I had to visit this ER about 5 times in the past 6 months, rather for me or my SO. Every single time we had a great experience and we’re very well taken care of. Sometimes they took a bit to get something done, or would forget if we asked for water. But we every time we went it was 2 am or so and busy, so I can’t blame them for stuff like that. They take extremely good care of you, and you leave feeling better, and with a clear path to keeping that feeling. Thank you so much for taking care of me and my SO.

They have a cardiologist in the front building on the 3rd floor.
They have very good doctors here
Dont go there, drive the extra 20 minutes and go to a real hospital. Was there in the ER with chest pains and a history of heart attacks and was made to wait for over an hour. Ended up leaving and going Baylor to downtown Fort Worth.
There is a family practice clinic on the second floor and some specialty physicians on the third floor and of course the ER.
