I mean, for the price in the area it's good. Has beds, water is hot. Locations is great. Bedrooms look like they have had some work done to them over the years. As stated in some other reviews the walls are thin. There are some things they may want to address: 1) The mystery stains on the bedroom door. It kind of looks like mud, but I did not taste it to make sure. I wish I could attach pictures. 2) The bathroom ligh fixture is, well non existent. There are two bulbs (that don't match) at eye level. Pretty sure I will be seeing those every time I close my eyes for the next week. 3) There is a problem with the paint in the bathroom. Firstly it's a small bathroom. You need to paint this bad boy white. Not dark brown. And the cieling? Why paint that brown too? It makes me feel like I am crawling into a very small cave. The paint is bubbling off the wall due to a leak or people taking long hot showers. P.s. there are also mystery stains on the bathroom wall, like 6 ft up. Bottom line for the money, it does the job. I just wish I didn't have to try to explain the stains on the door to my children.

At first I thought this place was just an old school motel but further inspection shows a run down dump. Dirty toilet with a brown ring around the water. Shower that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Towels that used to be white with a rough texture. Baseboards with dust coating every inch. The “check in office” is a rundown shed with beer cans littered inside. A piece of cardboard saying to text to check in. What a joke. It would not take much to make this in to a great place. These owners are taking profits with little care for its customers. No pride just a junk place to make money.

The service there is good. The motel and rooms are very rustic and clean. The amenities are pretty basic however you cannot beat the price. They are very centrally located and close to most of the outdoor activities that the area has to offer. Parking is a little bit tight so if you have a large vehicle you might request to be in one of the units on the opposite end of the office as there's a bit more room to get in and out of your parking spot. They are definitely one of the places I call first when I need to stay in the area.

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay at the Timberline Inn. We rented three rooms and a member of our club rented an additional room, so four rooms in the motel occupied from Friday to Sunday. Pros: -Great, central location with a beautiful view -Ample parking -Cute rustic motel -Rooms are good sized -Beds were comfortable -Hot water, good pressure, pipes didn't freeze with the cold front we had -Great potential - Immediate impression was really positive... The rooms were open, warm, no bad smells, little decorative touches were appropriate Cons: Once settled, started noticing the little (big) things -Rooms seemed neglected... overall cleanliness was lacking immensely... previous guests hairs all over shower and in beds, thick dust under beds, cobwebs everywhere, footprints on floor -Appeared poorly maintained (lights not working/no bulbs, metal weather stripping was broken, shower needs serious cleaning/updating, paint in bathrooms has what appears to be nicotine streaks coming down walls/behind doors -Our room had no locking mechanism inside (7), but the others did. -Towels were dingy and in need of bleaching or replacement, and some towels seemed to be previously used by prior guests and rehung -Communication with staff/management is severely lacking (to my knowledge they are not on site and can be difficult to reach-initially when booking had a hard time getting in contact, and day of check in, messaged owner to see if we could check in any earlier with no response)... customer service goes a LONG way in the hospitality business and I was not confident that if there were any issues we could reach out. Overall, our group enjoyed our stay and would come back and give them our business again if some of these issues were addressed. Having rooms at a decent rate does not mean they should lack in cleanliness or customer care.
