Really nice gym with a good selection of equipment. It can get a little full when school lets out and if you want to lift weights or play basketball, there isn’t a lot of room. The one star is for the front desk staff and the attitudes of those checking you in or renting basketballs. It’s like going to the DMV in terms of how much they care and going through TSA for people with just a smidgen of power that went to their heads. I wish they would fix their personnel to understand the customers and the people they actually serve.

Lots of bang for the buck. Huge gym, indoor pool, walking trails etc.

I'm so impressed with this center. I can't believe Lewisville could afford such a high-quality facility. It is so clean and beautifully decorated. It has a kind of a fifties vibe to the furniture. I can't believe you get your own dressing room in the pool area so you can undress in private. The pool is outstanding. It's so large. I last went at 5 pm and the parking lot was completey full, so I though the pool would be too crowded, but there was plenty of room. They had a swim class and they were playing the oldies. It felt great while I was attempting to learn how to walk against the current in the river flow area. It is very strong. Great cardio. Just love going there and using the ellipticals upstairs too. I haven't tried a class yet. Their hours are a bit scattered. Not much on the weekends. The yoga and tai chi classes are what I want to try next. They're early in the morning on weekdays. Just a lovely place for people of all ages to get a great workout. The only irritant is the constant banging of basketballs, but after a while you just drone them out, especially in the pool area. I'm going tomorrow to swim again. Have fun.

One lap of the indoor track is 1/8 of a mile. 8 laps equal a mile.

You can, but he or she would have to pay 6 bucks for a day pass to get in if he's a resident of Lewisville. 8 bucks if they are not from Lewisville.
Very nice and clean. Visiting family, from East Texas . We enjoyed the recreational center.
The hours are shortened due to staffing shortages.

There is a room for toddlers at the front. Outside if that their is a pool area. If you go in and ask they do let you look around. Good luck!
