I have left every visit feeling better than before. I started coming here after having Chiari Decompression surgery.

This place has saved my soul! Not only is EVERYONE here outstanding and kind, you can't beat these prices anywhere. I come here anywhere from 2-3 times a week and they have become family.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. High Five Physical Therapy is the only place to go. The staff at High Five are all great but Dr. Perez is incredible. I recently fell severely damaging my shoulder. After surgery the doctors office sent me to their facility at Carroll Clinic - my first visit was an evaluation, the second visit had the PT splitting time with me and another. The third and final was split between me and 2 other patients. I knew I was not getting the care I needed. Signed up with High Five and from the initial in depth evaluation I knew this was the right place. After the evaluation Dr. Perez went to work with lasers, ultra sound, careful stretching and manipulation. What was shocking - no amazing, was that barely a day later I could tell a 10 fold improvement in both my range of motion and reduction in pain. A little after 3 weeks I went to see my doctor who was equally surprised with how much movement there was - then I told him I had switched to High Five Physical Therapy and he knew immediately why I had improved so much.

I've been seeing Dr. Perez for a few months for TMJ/neck/postural muscle correction. It's clear that she really cares about the patient and improving their state of comfort. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that treatment is working for me and that I'm getting what I need during each appointment. I've been to a few physical therapy offices and never do you get an appointment with just the doctor for the full time. I've been happy with the continued improvement and attention to my case.

Dry needling has been found to be one of the most effective treatment interventions physical therapists can offer to patients. Soft tissue mobilization and stretching the stiff muscles that causes headaches is also very effective. Postural education and teaching patient’s what triggers headaches and how to management them has been shown to provide long-term improvements. At our clinic, we offer spinal decompression, cold laser, ultrasound, Kinesiotape, electrical stimulation, and more to assist with decreasing headache intensity and frequency.
1. Migraine headaches: pain that does or doesn’t present with nausea and visual changes called aura. These headaches are usually unilateral (occurs on one side) of the face and head at a time. However, the pain can switch from one side to the other. Triggers can also include bright lights and loud sounds. 2. Cervicogenic headaches: pain usually felt on one side of the face and head that worsens with head movement. 3. Tension headaches: pain feels like a tight band wrapped around your head, primarily around your forehead usually bilateral(both sides) of the head and/or face. There is no nausea or vomiting with tension headaches. 4. Sinus headaches: pain felt in the eyes brows, behind the forehead, and around the nose/cheekbones. 5. Cluster headache: pain felt around the eye.
