Yes. Be careful of swift currents, underwater hazards and very cold water temperatures.

No cell service for many carriers, camp fire ok they also sale wood. No electrical but there is water.

Many restrooms no shower but you can take a shower 🚿 in the faucet installed close to your campsite.

You can show up and pay, if you want to reserve a spot then you'll have to pay ahead of time but if you just show up then you can pay there in person
They were first come first serve when I went a couple weeks ago. But only even numbered sites were available. #66was a great spot

You don't need reservations, just go up to the front, hand in the money for how many days your staying and find a open spot to set up (every other campsite is open so you can only camp out on the even number sites)
As far as the kings river. . . The river is stocked regularly with rainbow trout by the CDFW. There are also large and smallmouth bass here. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.
