You have to get there extremely early & try to get a good spot in line. Just before opening they will come out and give out a few numbers for walkins but not many. Best to try and make an appointment.

Currently Texas does not offer an enhanced drivers license.

You just need to call or go online and reschedule the test. They were shut down and are overloaded with flood victims trying to get replacements for their list items. But don't expect to be able to test anytime soon, they told me that the earliest test date available was September 11th today when I asked. Also, you can pay to take your driving test at a third party certified facility driving school. They charged me $75 to take the test today and then I just had to take the certificate back to the dps office and got my license. There is a list of certified places on the dps website.

Walk-in is best in many cases because they have a system in there to get you through the process seamlessly. Once inside, the staff sorts what you need and points you in the proper direction according to your situation. That was my experience and I hope that helps you

First you need to prove residency. That's a utility bill water electric something along that line. They also accept bank statements as part of that too. You can't use there wi-fi. One more thing the bill that you bring to prove residency has to be with in 60 days. Hope this helps.

I believe you have to ask for the form and have it mailed to you. Did you mail it back I don't think there is a place to do it online because you have to be verified of Who You Are driver's license birth certificate excetera before they change the address. Otherwise ex-spouses would be changing addresses every week on you just to tick you off and you'd never know it

I would say schedule an appointment to go in person. It is like 15 minutes or less wait time especially if you schedule around 7-8:30. Just bring the same paperwork you bought to get your license in case someone at the DMV messed up somehow. They don't answer the phone unless you luck up and call as soon as it opens.

If you have your driver's license audit number, you can apply online and get a printout copy for the first sixty days. The audit number is vertical with your photo on older licenses, or at the bottom in field number five on newer licenses. If you don't have the audit number you have to go to a driver license office. when i was there, they stated they can only process a certain number of people a day. Once they hit that number they turn the rest away. That way people don't wait in line for hours, for no reason. They announced it and said if you were there and had a number, you would be helped that day. If you left the buidling you had to have your paper or you would not be let back in. Don't even think about going to Spring without getting getting in line electronically from the web site. With the text they send you you bypass the line outside the door, but you still may have another hour or more wait inside.
