After losing more than 130 lbs, I was left with quite a bit of loose skin. Dr. Patronella was the only doctor I trusted to remove that skin and transform my body into the vision I had in my mind's eye. He asked me what my goal was and I said: To look good in my clothes. He accomplished that and so much more! I am so pleased with my results and feel so much more confident. I am no longer avoiding mirrors or cameras! Clothing fits me now -- after losing such a massive amount of weight, the loose skin I was left with was keeping my clothing from fitting correctly. People keep insisting I've lost weight -- I haven't -- but it looks as if I have. The nurses at my local dermatologist's office love the contouring techniques Dr. Patronella employed (several crowded into the room to see my post-op body)! He took great care to ensure my results are natural-looking so I have the natural curves of a woman -- except optimized. If you have to travel to make this happen, it's worth the journey and the investment. I live in a major metropolitan city and did not see the same expertise in the surgeons located near me, so I traveled to Houston for pre-op appointments, the actual surgery, plus the post op-appointments and never did I regret a moment. His staff is warm and friendly and will cater to your every need. This experience has been beyond compare.

If I could rate 10 stars I would! I have been a patient of dr. Patronella for almost 10 years. I have undergone 3 breast augmentation procedures with him. I was 20 years old on my first one, second one I increased in size and recently my 3rd. I decided to go back to smaller implant for personal reasons smaller implants better suit my lifestyle. This all being said DR. Patronella has done an incredible job at altering and contouring my shape with stitches and internal tweaks that have given me my desired results. This 3rd time because I went from larger implant to smaller it caused some stretching, Dr.P not only gave me a lift he reshaped to a more natural cleavage while maintaining my small elegant sized implant I chose. Truly, Dr. Patronellas work is beyond my expectations, I’m incredibly happy I could cry. I’m so in love with my shape as I have aged and my body has changed some since my first round, im very amazed how elegant my results have turned out. To be expected of corse, I would not trust anyone else with undergoing any surgery! Building trust and finding a surgeon that you are a good match with takes research and time and Choosing Dr.P as my surgeon after my extensive research and consult appointments with all of Houston has been the appropriate match for me. I would not recommend any one else especially if you are as picky as I am, Dr.P is your guy.

Dr. P has great table side and his staff is very friendly and helpful. I got a BA in August 2021 & had two repairs post procedure. After repairs, the aesthetic is better, but I’m not completely happy with my results.

Dr. Patronella and his staff are Amazing. I was so scared when it came time to commit to my surgery. Dr. P and his staff made it so easy. They walked me theough my options and answered questions I didn't even realize I had. Once the decision was made, I waffled a little on the need for implants with my lift. I was afraid I would regret not getting them and Dr. P assured me that I had enough tissue and would not need them. He absolutely could have upsold and pushed the implants but he didn't. My surgery was a little over a week ago. He was absolutely right and I am in awe of my results. I know the swelling still has to go down but my breasts didn't look this good when I was 17. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Patronella.

Hi Nicole, Yes, instead of using drains, Dr. Patronella incorporates progressive tension sutures to close up the spaces where seromas (collections of fluid) could potentially form. In a study of more than 450 of his body contouring patients, not one developed seromas when drains were replaced with progressive tension sutures. Drains tend to be bulky and uncomfortable, so progressive tension sutures have been a game-changer in improving his patients' recovery experience.
