Y'all need to re-think the management of the pools. We pay the same price and yet almost all the pools were closed on Labor Day. And at this pool? Waterslide....closed. Kids' wading area and slide....closed. whirlpool feature......closed. tunes were deflated and few. Gotta do better first colony association

Very Frustrating Experience! I'm registered online for the Digital Pool Passes - Cell Badge and am a First Colony resident. I thought we were good to go. Showed up with my parents from out of town at noon on a Saturday to swim some laps on this 98 degree day as I'd done in years past. Sadly we were told we, as well as a random guy who was in a similar situation that we could not swim in the mostly empty pool unless we had a separate "Aquatics Center Access Card" pool tag for the lap pool which would cost $75 plus a $25 deposit. The most frustrating part is that when we asked to purchase the card from the "manager" at the adjacent kids pool area they informed us that he can not distribute a pool tag and that we need to go to the main office to get the tag during the week during "normal business hours". Unfortunately my wife and I work in Houston during the week and can't just drop in at our lunch break to get a tag. I pay over $800 per year in FCCSA fees and hardly ever use any of the facilities as we are so busy working during the week. So it's double annoying to have to pay twice and to have do deal with the bureaucratic hoops they've set up in an effort to limit access to their pools. The next irritating thing is that the three other neighborhood pools we could have accessed were all closed and don't open until 4pm so we ended going home. Went online to see where this policy is listed and it's not at all on their website. You need to open a separate pdf to find this detail. Frankly it's a senseless policy that is very poorly executed that limits access and is discriminatory to hard working dual income families and single people.

nice lap pool area. only thing that bothers me is how the swim team takes majority of the lane the entire afternoon. every single day. leaving us residents with 1 lane to swim in, and we’d have to take turns.

How much does it cost for non residents to get in?

If it's strictly for swimming that you want access (as an adult), the other option is joining one of the masters swim groups. For example, Fort Bend Masters Swimming.

The new pool manager is very racist. I'm filing a complaint against her( HOA) and will approach city of sugar Land. .She needs to work at any gas station where she can't discriminate people.
