Food was disappointing. The flavours did not compliment each other. Service was haphazard. Glass of wine did not arrive. Bread arrived after the starter. We had to ask for a spoon for the bisque. $62 service charge was added to the already sizeable bill. This alone would stop me coming back. The customer should always decide the tip, not the restaurant. We had three courses but were charged $100 each for food despite the $89 it said on the menu all because we substituted a starter for a dessert. Not worth $370 for two people. Would never, ever go back or recommend to anyone!

Quick Summary Fantastic service from start to finish with excellent food and cocktails. Fantastic spot if you're craving a "fine dining" experience at Oakhurst Food- 5 stars They come with a tasting menu and give you the option for a 3 or 4 course menu. We ordered the 4 course menu to try everything out. Broccoli soup- this was fantastic. Probably the best dish of the night. Perfectly balanced and really liked the touch of chili oil to round out the dish Caviar- this was good. Lower end caviar always is! Great value here Ribeye- this was cooked perfectly. I just thought the reduction was a tad bit sweet, which is why I liked the elk better Elk- this was fantastic. Liked it more than the ribeye, especially because of the sweet potato puree Namelaka- dessert was fantastic. Very balanced and not too sweet. Enjoyed every bite Spiced carrot torte- same as above. I liked both desserts and would suggest just to get the dessert that sounds more appetizing to you Drinks- 5 stars Irish maid- really enjoyed this cocktail. Extremely refreshing, especially after a long hike in Yosemite Elderberry sour- their version of the gin sour. Very delicious, balanced, and light Service- 5 stars Service was excellent from start to finish. Everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant from the service to the ambiance Bottom Line Excellent food and cocktails at the Elderberry House. The service is what pushes this place to the top. Great spot to visit if you're in the fine dining mood

The artistry of culinary preparation are unique. You'll notice the garnishment of each dish a work of art. The meal's very delicious. Though the servings might be small in proportions but they're filling.
Since you usually need reservations there. You should call to find out.
Hi Mike, yes we have a locals night. Monday-Wednesday we offer a 3 course dinner for $58. This will go through March. And the bar will reopen at the end of the month. Hope to see you soon!
They are open for dinner only, 7 days a week.
We chose to sit in the patio. It was pretty secluded. They had few guests sitting inside. All employees wore mask. Overall, we felt comfortable with precautions taken.
Depends on your dinner course. 3 or 5
