Took the TEXRail at Grapevine on my way to DFW. The station was clean and the train ride was only my about 10 minutes. Super convenient.

Train rides are always soothing. Easy to access. Just makes sure you're on the right side of tracks, there's signs showing where the train will come in from. Download the GoPass app and get you a ticket. But don't activate the Tix until they ask. Sometimes the attendants won't bother you for your ticket. Great way to get across town/ airport.

TEXRail/Trinity Rail Express runs from DFW Airport to this station. Also goes to downtown Fort Worth. Metro or light rail station. Inside the new Grapevine Main train station is a hotel, visitors center, food court, bars, stage for live events. (Next to this new station is the old train station and vintage RR.) Walking distance to shops and other attractions.

The DART train to Dallas & the Trinity Rail to Ft. Worth run almost all night. I think they're down 1am to 4am. Schedules are online.
There are electronic ticket machines on the platform.
It opened on Monday. Someone at the Federal level had to sign off on something, and because of the shutdown, it didn't happen in time. Worth checking out, though. Ride for free until the end of January (2019 - don't know how long this will be left up).
