I am building a custom home in Bridgeport and the folks at Hometown Building Center have been awesome. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If an item is not on the shelf, they try to go find it in inventory. Always responsive, supportive, and they go the extra mile. Prices may be a little higher than big box stores, but the service quality and care is worth supporting the local economy. Special shout out to Ron Hunter who is always willing to jump in and help in a time of urgency, even when it was my lack of planning that caused it... Thank you!

The service was okay. But the prices astronomical a roller builders paper $34 Home depot's price $15 a box of painters plastic I'll just upload the receipt because two boxes of plastic two rolls of construction paper $104 or something. At least double what you would pay anywhere else but they got you because they're one of the few places in Bridgeport that offer s*** like that so you're stuck unless you want to drive all the way to Decatur or to Fort Worth so before you do a job in Bridgeport make sure you get everything you need before you get out here

For a store called Hometown, they are prioritizing commercial companies over home town customer. Called for lvls and they wouldn’t sell to non companies people.
