I don't consume alcohol so bars aren't my usual hangout but I was invited to The Nines and said, 'what the hell'. Cool, funky vibe. Super casual. Interesting clientele. Bartender made me a tasty faux cocktail, the DJs there at the time were KILLING it and people were having fun dancing. My friends and I had a blast. Best time I've had since covid ruined everything. 9 out of 5. Would do again.

Stood at the bar for 10 minutes (with no one else in the entire establishment other than employees) and the bartender never stopped picking at her nails. Our money got spent elsewhere.

Hadn’t been out in a while and this was a great place to unwind! Bartender held no punches on the drinks, deejays knew how to keep the party going and no drama just good energy and lots of fun!!

easily a 1/5 because looking up Black clubs this one comes up but at the door there are three bouncers and one of them is a small little white man who likes to argue with women as if he is a woman and non of the other “men” that work here care either. Then once you enter the music is okay but the volume is so low that you can hear people’s conversations so it feels more like a lounging area.

Depends upon the event whether there is a cover. $8 to $20 is my experience. Usually no cover before 8 even when they have an event. I think drink prices are typical for Deep Ellum and they have specials regularly like $3 wells
Either you have your bars mixed up or you are lying to garner bad press for this bar. I have frequented this place many times. Four bouncers and taser attacks is not something that would happen there. I've never felt overcharged at this bar. It isn't the kind of douch-ey bar that over charges for super fancy drinks.
It's casual on most days. There are some soecial events that have a dress code. The event will always state the dress code. It is usually a "no effort, no entry dress code" meaning that you don't have to adhere exactly to the suggested dress, but you do have to look like you put forth some thought and effort towards being there for the event planned.
