Today I felt this hospital is not same as it was used to be. Took my year n half daughter in emergency, couldn’t remember her birthday day. Had to leave from home is rush so forgot her insurance card which are required on front desk. Front desk lady kept asking her DOB and which I was completely blanked and I told her name and that records should be in your system how she was born in the same hospital. I gave her name and she is not typing’s correctly to retrieve her data. She got mad and started talking something to herself in a way that she is a waitress doing some huge favor to me. I asked if you are not willing to see her and I can go somewhere else how she is in very bad situation, she kept quite. Another lady on front desk came to assist and she found that her colleague was not trying the correct spellings. Her reply was ohahaha her name is too long that’s why there’s mistake. It was only 6 letters and the lady had 9 letters. I saw her name and replied that I’ll make sure my next child name is as simple as ABC. After 4 hours wait without seeing doctor I had to leave cuz it’s so called a busy day. I never experienced disrespectful comments and service before that. So not sure why, perhaps a new management and policies.

Nightmare. I was 17 years old & went to Lutheran general ER in P.R. for ovarian cysts that ruptured. I was misdiagnosed,& made fun of by ER nurses & I almost died. I was hospitalized for months & next doctor forced me, against my will ( I knew the doctor was wrong) , to take a medicine that overdosed me . I was resuscitated & spent a long time in ICU . Worst part I was a minor & my parents made a lot of bad decisions & were in control. I should have sued the hospital for medical malpractice. The chief of staff came in and agreed I was misdiagnosed . I ended up studying medicine in college because I like to help people , but I would never go back to this hospital again or let my kids go to this ER . Avoid their ER because your life depends on it !!!!!

Never had issues at this hospital but this time, it felt like the staff was just fed up with all the patients coming in and out of the hospital. Did not see that warm and fuzzy customer service, possibly due to the covid stress. Update... Went to the pediatric ER today (10/18) for a injury to my son's eye. Arrived at 1.30pm and it is now 5.40pm. Still waiting to be seen. Ridiculous. People probably die waiting in the ER. Another reason this hospital is a mess or not recommended.

I brought my mother to the ER after she fell down multiple times at home. She is 85, extremely weak, and could hardly walk. We waited in the waiting area for almost 6 hours to be seen by a doctor. And after that we just left because my mom was physically and mentally unable to wait longer. All what they say is " she is in line to be admitted to ER soon" , just to make you wait and to bill your insurance. The staff is rude and not caring. HORRIBLE experience! If you really in need of medical help - stay away from Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. I wish I could give 0 stars

To your new doctor
The main hospital has MRI and ct and it's near the er. Also in center for advanced care.
I'm sure you have to check the website for carreers.
Between the hours of 5:30am and 8:30 pm park in the main garage and enter the main entrance. After hours entry is through the emergency room entrance
They do around the campus but I don't have the number sorry
Yes they do.
Yes
You may need a ride home, depending on the medication the release you on. Just be aware and ask your doc.
No. They got rid of it in 2018.
24/7 online. Here's a link: https://advocate.patientcompass.com/RA
Yes
No. You need to have your doctor do it and they have to be affiliated to the hospital
Call the Dr. That diagnosed him or the records department at the hospital
yes with very good insurance
You need to call the main number. They are hopital so you would need an appointment an a Dr.
I believe most people use the chapel on the first floor
You need to be admitted and the cost depends on your insurance
Cook
On the first floor
There is the Nesset Pavilion essentially across the street
Wouldnt go here for cancer unless you want to die. Docs are rude and not very agressive. Go to cancer treatment center in Schaumburg
Most departments are open for visitits from 9.30am
10th floor has a cardiac unit, the rest of the floor is conference rooms, a arcade, vending and cafeteria. The patient rooms are in the new tower. Rooms on the 10th floor are modern and among the nicest.
The front of the hospital. There's a free parking spot. Also if you are visiting the children part of the hospital there's another parking in the back. Last time I was there they were building a huge parking spot adjacent to the hospital.
If I recall correctly it does not. I think we moved to Evanston and they had one room that had the option.
Not sure what you are talking about
Diane, my brother had leukemia and our family and friends donated platetes, however, it depends on the type of leukemia. Ask the Doctor first. Best wishes for a healthy recovery.
