First off, shoutout to Natalie for being amazing. Customer service at its finest. Dissapointing that the hours of operation for the restaurant are not updated. Missed out on dinner because we thought we had time to take showers. Closed at 11pm, Google said 24x7 dine in or take out. Thank goodness for Natalie willing to help us out. Garlic Chicken Sandwich and a slice of Apple Pie is whats for dinner. Thanks SO MUCH NATALIE!! I'd give it more stars because the bakery CAN be amazing (more apples in the apple fritters please). Overall ITS AMAZING!! Homestyle goodness. Dissapointed in missing out no thanks to the hours posted on Google. Get there when its open, you will be pleased.

Love this place!! Awesome baked goods (the fritter bread makes the best french toast you've ever had) and great deli sandwiches! Definitely stop in to check out the restaurant, as well as the gift shop! Delicious food and friendly service. Give this place a try!

We don’t get here often but as far as the Petro itself goes, this is a really neat one. They have a large bakery inside, a separate gift shop inside, a good sit-down restaurant, with an extensive menu (seafood omelettes, salads, chicken fried steak, broasted chicken, enchiladas, etc.), a deli/sandwich counter where they make fresh sandwiches to order and I’m pretty sure they have ice cream by the scoop too. You can buy loaves of bread from the bakery - anywhere from white, to rye to Apple fritter bread. The restaurant even has fritter bread French toast on their menu! They have a freezer case where you can buy their homemade soup (such as chicken and wild rice) by the quart (I think) and they sell meat/sausage. One of the options is wild rice sausage. We also showered here. Their showers are clean, as most TA/Petro showers are with all of the standard amenities (like an extra towel and a place to put your shower stuff in the shower). Their showers are older though and are in need of some remodeling/TLC which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.
