This park is a great place to spend time with children. The playground is new, nice, and save for the kinds. There is a small lake nearby and there are plenty of birds and other animals like turtles and crayfish that the children could observe in the water.

Peaceful and open-spaced. The 0.8-mile path is nice for walking or running. The only drawback is the proximity to a major street on one side but only for a short distance.
