I recently for the first time in almost 20 years got $16 dollars in my savings account for Child Support and I thought it was a mistake so I called the Child Support Office just in case they really did make it as a mistake by giving me the $16.00 by mistake. I’ve never counted on my Sons child Support because I’ve never received anything from his father so I wrote that off long ago. The child support division was very helpful and I got my questions answered.

If you don't have a court order you just stop , if you have a court order you have to fill out forms take it to the court house and file them , your caseworker should direct you to the form you need mine did .

Call them and ask. They usually need the SSN of the person paying or the payee.
