Hi there everyone! Our last weekend of the season was Dec 21 & 22. The zoo is now closed for the season to the general public until our 2020 season opening day - April 4, 2020. Typically throughout the late fall and early winter, our reptiles and smaller rodents need to be housed someplace warmer than our main barn to keep them safe from the low temperatures. So, if you don't see some of our reptiles and macaws out, it's due to colder temperatures. To purchase a 2020 Randall Oaks Zoo season membership or for more information, visit the website here: https://www.dtpd.org/randall-oaks-zoo/ Thanks everyone!
No, they do not rent their ponies for outside parties.
Kyla there are some local reptile groups on Facebook. Try there, I'm sure you will find a great home for him. A good group to start would be Chicago Reptile Swap and Sell
They are closed end of December through March. Opening day is April 6.
Yes, the Randall Oaks Zoo would still be open. Some attractions may be limited due to the weather.
