Jeldwen hrs for employees are 6am to 2:30pm on a 8hr day & for 2nd shift are 2:30pm to 10:30pm on 8 hrs day no 3rd in manufacturing. But they do work a lot of overtime 10hrs including some Saturdays. But does slow down during cold season. Receiving hrs are from 6am too 3pm & shipping hrs for all 3 shifts are 1st 6am to 2:30pm 2nd shift 2:30 to 10:30pm & most loads here are drop trailers & are available pick any time after 12am unless a live load then are loaded on the spot.

We purchased JELD-WEN double hung, vinyl windows for our new build. The windows arrived with issues. Upon installation it was noticed that the upper sashes did not work. They sent out a technician and the issue was promptly fixed. However, when we moved in we noticed that the cam lock and keepers were misaligned. Also one sash cord had come loose from the balance. JELD-WEN’s fixed this time was DIY videos and the assurance that it was an easy fix. Honestly, I am a capable DIYer, and the “fixes” were doable. But a video does NOT constitute a warranty. I should not have to repair windows myself that I paid almost a thousand dollars each for when it is obvious it was poorly made. I gave them 2-Stars because their CSR was amazing after I lost it on her. It’s not her fault. I’m assume she didn’t build them.

The friendliness of all the employees is excellent. I recommend this place to work. Depending on the shift the work environment changes, I can say that I have worked in the afternoon and the morning shift and I feel more comfortable in the first shift due to the style of the supervisors. But in general it is like everything has its good and bad things. But the bosses do their best to improve.
