Best Catholic church in grapevine, too bad it's the only Catholic church in grapevine. For some reason confessionals are for only one day out of the week that last one hour not to mention people work on Saturdays... Either the priest doesn't care or he must really believe the community only sins one day of the week

Hi Rosa, thanks for asking about St. Francis Church. As a parish of the Roman Catholic Church, we are a Christian Church. This means that we believe that Jesus Christ came to save all of us by dying on the cross so that we could have eternal life. The Roman Catholic Church was established by Jesus when he said to Peter, "You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church." (Mt 16:18). Therefore we believe in both Scripture and the Traditions handed down from the Church Fathers since Jesus. This includes many things, but most importantly, we believe in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. At one of our services, called a Mass, we celebrate the Paschal Sacrifice of Jesus and truly believe that heaven and earth are joined together as the bread and wine become Jesus' Body and Blood. I hope this helps you understand what sets Catholics apart from other Christian denominations. You are always welcome in our Church family and may Jesus provide you peace!
