Beautiful hardscapes and pollinator-friendly gardens are open even when the state fair is done.

I think it's 15 with the butterfly garden entrance.
You get to walk around them and see them all over. Some may land on you. It's very cool actually.
We maintain several hundred butterflies in the exhibit. Depending on shipments, this number varies.
Yes. Stuff outside my not be in bloom but it's open
If it's a true service dog, I dont think they are legally allowed to say no. And people bring kid strollers in there all the time so I cant see why they would have an issue...but I am honestly not sure. Maybe call them in the morning? Sorry I couldn't help more.
Yes or it will be very low price like a dollar
It's $8/adults, $6/ages 60+, and $4/ages 3-11. Each Tuesday, enjoy Pay-What-You-Wish admission!
We focus on native and adapted plants outside, with tropical nectar plants and trees in our butterfly house.
No rides. But the butterfly garden house, outdoor garden and has small jungle gym
Absolutely...you do not need a state fair ticket for this attraction and a numbers of others.
We have several picnic tables outside and we welcome you to bring a picnic or enjoy our lawns. Food is not allowed inside the Butterfly House. Catering restrictions apply for rentals. Texas Discovery Gardens is within walking distance from the historic Old Mill Inn in Fair Park.
Please do! Professional photographers (i.e. if you're selling your photos or plan to) please see our Photography Policy.
While we appreciate organic fertilizer, we don't want that kind of fertilizer in the Gardens! Please keep fido at home. Service animals are always welcome.
You can buy tickets between 10am and 4pm daily.
We just went last month. I guess it's not the winter but close. We enjoyed it. The butterfly house is kept at a constant temp. So that is nice all year round and well worth it. As for the outdoor gardens they are kept very nicely and are peaceful to walk around.
Yes, they release them 'Everyday' at noon. They get new shipments of crysalis and cocoons if not everyday then multiple times during the week
If you pay the entry fee, I wouldn't imagine why not. We saw several people with professional cameras who were going crazy.
Yes
Yeah I think you have to pay for that
No, just go to the desk in front and pay. On Tuesday it's donation only
