I stayed here in one of the cabins for a couple days. Cabin and bathhouse were exceptionally clean. Ate at the cafe for breakfast and the food was very good and served quickly.

My bestie and I went for the weekend and I started my rating of the weekend at about a 4/10. I wasn't feeling well and someone hit my car as soon as we arrived (completely unrelated to the campsite). However, by the end of the weekend, my rating jumped to a 10/10. Our spot was beautiful. You have options to choose a tent spot, a small cabin, a spot to park your RV, or an already set up RV or tent house (not sure the name for those). We choose the tent spot and loved it. The bathrooms are so clean and smell great. For me, that is a make or break for a campsite. They also have a gift shop that also serves as a mini Cafe in the morning. Just outside the giftshop/Cafe, they serve breakfast. Their breakfast was sooo delicious. We originally planned to cook breakfast ourselves, as we planned for it, but we ended up eating their each morning. The first morning we had the french toast w/challah bread and that turned into the best discovery made. The second morning, I had this scrambled egg skillet. I think it was called The Campsite. Better than I expected. And you have to try their biscuit with jelly. You can never go wrong. The staff was so hospitable and they recommended going to the Leer all the fishermen (and women) went to early that morning. They also have bike rentals, if you don't have your own. They were $15/day per person. I don't think it was bad at all. We initially went down to the Leer via car but came back later that afternoon on bike. The leer was pretty cool with lots of salmon. We ended up spending the whole day in Frankfort. It was such a lovely ride around the city and everyone was kind. And at night, you can look forward to some stargazing. It was all around just such a wholesome and beautiful experience at the campsite and in the city and I cannot wait to go back next year. They're located near Sleeping Bear dunes, Crystal Beach, kayaking/canoeing, and of course, fishing.

Nice secluded location close to everything. One of our new favorite campsites.

It should... last year I stayed there with my uncle in his 37'. We were there for a week. I love the location!
Good morning, Rick. The campground is pretty relaxed. Am sure anytime you could check in. If afterhours, just leave a note on the door or catch them in the morning...they are not the type which will come knocking. Note, sites are tight...however, you are right on the bike path, so that is worth the tradeoff.
Yes either way
I can't get on when using Chrome, at least on mobile. Something about the security certificate. I can get online using the home computer, as well as using a different browser.
8 miles from the Homestead Dam.
Im not sure what the rates are but they are pet friendly.
Yes they do. We took our dog with us for the weekend. They want you to keep them on a leash when you walk them and pick up after them
check in 1 pm check out noon if your site is available earlier you are welcome to check in!
Call them, they have a variety of sites with varying amenities, so prices vary.
We don't have direct access to the river, but we are nearby the mouth and several access points. Lots of fisher folks stay here! :)
