The Shooting Park of Horace

Not a good newby shooters place. It’s ok for making shots, but if you’re not a regular or experienced shooter, don’t expect any help or welcoming to the park. No grill, poor beer selection, and no friendliness. One of the employees did help my wife with some pointers, but they don’t have any training or beginners classes. But where else is there so why do any better. Find a friend that shoots if you want to go to learn. Otherwise seems a decent place.

Had an experience recently that turned me away from this range for good. I was having mechanical issues while at the range and one of the employees decided to come up and yell at me not once but twice in the same round. Not only did he yell, he also grabbed a loaded firearm out of my hands without allowing me to remove the shells from the chamber. The utter disrespect, and disregard of firearm safety, while dealing with a paying customer blew me away. I will not be returning to this range ever again.

Lots of fun. I usually use the trap lanes and there seems to always be room for me and anyone that I'm with. Excellent!

GREAT experience, very nice staff and a beautiful place to shoot almost anything (Rifle, Shotgun, and Pistol). I've been to many ranges in ND and now this is myself and my wife's favorite place cant wait to go back.
