Went to the Bed, Bath & Beyond to pick up some kitchen towels. Had recently joined their rewards program so had a $5 “welcome” discount and a 20% off coupon, both in electronic form. Unfortunately the clerk who checked me out was rude and impatient when I asked for help. (Kept saying, “Follow the prompts, ma’am!”) I’m not technologically proficient but I’m not illiterate either. BB&B is experiencing slumping sales. Why isn’t customer service emphasized?
