We usually go there with our 8 and 11 year Olds because they love cats. We have 6 of our own. Every time we go there we have a great time we spend around 45 minutes with the cats. However today we lasted about 10 minutes because an older lady had asked us if we had been there before and knew the rules. I said yes then she told us not to play with the cats that were in the cubbys on the walls. I said OK no problem. So we went to the front entrance to play with those cats because they only had one room for TLC today. My son saw a solid gray cat and asked what kind of cat that was and the lady told my boys not to play with the cats up front at the entrance because they were feral. We just left after that didn't feel too welcomed this visit.

Went to just see about adoption and the process very sweet people with helpful information. Adult cats are able to be foster cats and you can pay $120 have the cat see if it works with you and your families routine although this option is not for kittens.. Hopefully we will adopt a cat soon. This kitten was so sweet and we loved him hoped when we are ready to adopt he is still available.

I believe you are correct about Dr Starks. I do not know of another to meet your needs. Regards
They will take him if they have room. They love cats. I recommend you call them.
Yeah, you can go into volunteer.
Not sure but you could go and ask, the people are really friendly
All their adoptions are $100. The cats available vary daily, so you'd probably get a more accurate answer by calling them directly than waiting for a response on Google. 😁
$100. They are neutered/spayed, have shots, been checked by vet, and micro chipped. You also have so many days to have them checked by a vet at no cost for you if they get sick or hurt. (I'd have to check, but I believe they told us 30 days)
Yes you can but they are pretty full right now.
They're currently at their limit right now but check back later to see if they have room.
Yes, hobo is a cat rescue. I think the adoption fee is 100 bucks. The cats all come with shots utd, microchip and spayed/ neutered.
The ladies there are fantastic. Stop by or call. They're the nicest people.
Hi Maddie Jean! And yes, we do accept volunteer work from Beta students. ^•^
i would call them first to see if they have space at the facility.
Hi Kara! There is a $100 adoption fee but that fee includes adoption, spay or neuter, up-to-date shots, chipping and 1 month free veterinary care from Lake Area Animal Hospital. :)
Hi Teresa! I'm only a volunteer but I believe we do TNR (trap, neuter, release). If you have a daytime phone number where you can be reached, I'll be happy to pass it on to our supervisor.
Mary Beth Benoit, I brought it to the shelter. You can go pick him up at calcasieu animal shelter by the police department off on broad. His name is prancer.
Hi galyn! We don't have any gray males. Sry. I hope you find him.
Hi Day Dreamer! We try our best to place all cats and kittens in good, loving homes. Whether we have the room to accept any new furbaby at any one given time, can only be anwered by our staff. I am only a volunteer. They can be reached Tuesday through Friday at the Hobo, starting at 10 a.m. I hope this helped answer your question.
