If you're ever in Topeka DO NOT book a room with Endeaver inn and suites formerly Clubhouse Inn and Suites! We have had two rooms booked for several weeks for graduation. We called at 5 to make sure that our rooms were adjoining and Kelly said that they were and we were good for the night as long as we were there by midnight. Then an hour and a half later coby gets a call from the hotel saying that they canceled our reservations! The card I had booked with was the one on my account that had been hacked, but I didn't realize that. They tried to run the card before we even got to the hotel and didn't bother to call and ask for a different card! When I tried to call back and give them a different card number and explain why the card didn't work they didn't care. They said the reservations were locked so they couldn't give us back our rooms. The man I talked to was so rude and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!

Let's start with the good. I came in around 9pm, and the front desk guy was very nice and informative. He ensured that I knew everything relative to my stay. Also, the room was pretty clean with a comfy bed. A few spider webs in the corners, but it felt clean and smelled clean. I also agree with others who said that the breakfast was good. Everything tasted like some TLC (Tender Loving Care) was sprinkled in. On the negative side (RM 121), most of the hotel is under construction; so, the hotel is essentially a motel at this point. The price sorta reflects this, but should be dropped another $15 - $20 per night to account for the lack of facilities. The other negative is that the AC unit in our room did not work correctly. The button to turn on the fan continuously didn't work and the blower barely blowed any air whether on low or high fan speed. We were up through the night trying to resolve, with no luck. We will not return to the hotel for another visit.

Positive: The hotel was reasonably quiet. Breakfast was good. They had a selection of normal breakfast (coffee, juice, bagals, toast, etc.. Hot breakfast included eggs, biscuits and gravy, and a meat. Negative: The hotel was under renovations during my stay (03/04- 03/06/02022). The courtyard was closed. This really didn't disturb me, but it is worth mentioning that the hotel has a lot going on.

My husband and have been staying here for 20 years and have never had a problem until this stay in December. We booked our room on-line for $71.89 a night for a week. At checkout I noticed that we were charged over $100 a night. I asked the staff to have the GM call me. She never did. When we got home I checked my credit card charges and and it totaled $840.43. I contacted the hotel and spoke with the GM, Carrie and she said I requested a poolside room, which did not. Then she said oh it is because we requested a ground floor room, which we had. In the 20 yrs we have never been charged extra for a ground floor room. I asked Carrie who her supervisor was and she said she was as she was co-owner of the hotel. Later that afternoon my husband called the hotel and asked the rates for specific dates and asked if it was an upgrade for a ground floor room and was told no, then he asked about a poolside room and was again told that it was not an upgrade. We have always enjoyed staying here and the staff have been wonderful, but it is such a shame that I was lied to by the GM. After this experience I am not sure that we stay here again if steps are not taken about the overcharge of $337.20, the doing of Carrie.
